Back in the past, sound producers and engineers utilized tape machines to create delay and echo effects. The Tap Delay plugin seamlessly merges the rich tones of vintage tape echo machines with a contemporary, sequencer-like tapped delay engine, carrying on the legacy of analog tape echoes to the 21st century.

The Tape simulation feature encompasses all essential components necessary for reproducing an authentic analog tape sound:

<li>Tape hiss</li>
<li>Tape head bias</li>
<li>Wow and Flutter (Tape speed instability)</li>
<li>Smooth speed/delay time transitions</li>
</ul>

Enhancing the authenticity of dub echo effects are three feedback filters with hi-pass/low-pass and bandpass characteristics.

With a built-in Limiter, users can delve into endless feedback sound possibilities.

Tap Delay accommodates live inputs from any source such as Microphones, Guitars, Audiobus, and Inter App Audio. It also supports processing songs from iTunes libraries.
